Robert Fulghum 在 1986 年出版一本小書, 一度榮登美國暢銷書冠軍. 
那本書的名字就叫做

	ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW
	I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN

「所有我真的需要知道的事情, 我都在幼稚園學到了」  什麼意思呢?
讓我節錄開宗明義的一段話:

        Most of what I really need to know about how to live
        and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten.
        Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain,
        but there in the sandpile at Sunday School.  These are
        the things I learned:
                Share everything.
                Play fair.
                Don't hit people.
                Put things back where you found them.
                Clean up your own mess.
                Don't take things that aren't yours.
                Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
                Wash your hands before you eat.
                Flush.
                Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
                Live a balanced life---learn some and think some
                        and draw and paint and sing and dance
                        and play and work every day some.
		Take a nap every afternoon.
		When you go out into the world, watch out for
			traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
		Be aware of wonder.

我很高興地發現, 大部分的事情我也都在幼稚園的時候學到了,
而且一直到三十年後的今天, 還持續在做.  幾乎只有一項是我常無法做到的:
我沒辦法每天下午睡個午覺.  還有, 我沒辦法每天都唱唱歌, 跳跳舞, 做點遊戲.
如果我有時間多陪陪孩子, 或許就有可能做得到.  但是, 如果這樣,
我就決計沒時間寫下這些感言了.
